TEAM
HISTORY
Cincinnati Testing Laboratories (CTL) was founded in 1971 to provide high-quality, independent testing services to industry and government agencies. In 2009 our continued growth resulted in relocation to our present facilities in the Forest Park suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. CTL became a wholly owned subsidiary of Metcut Research Inc.
Our staff of engineers, technicians and machinists specializes in the machining, conditioning, and testing of composite, metallic, and advanced composite materials. In addition to conducting routine tests, CTL is the leader in developing specialized machining and testing procedures for one-of-a-kind, non-standard tests.
FACILITIES
We operate 100,000 square feet (9,300 square meters) of laboratory and machining space in our three locations (Metcut and CTL in Cincinnati, Ohio and Metcut Recherches in Nantes, France) and annually serve customers around the globe. Many of our services focus on high-temperature materials applicable to turbine engines and power generating equipment. We are adept at evaluating a broad range of metallic, non-metallic, and composite materials from diverse applications including airframes, ground transportation, oil & gas, alternative energy, and biomedical devices.
