Tony Hardesty is a native of the Cincinnati area and graduated from Cincinnati State Technical College with an ASE in Manufacturing Engineering. He started his professional career with CTL in 1987 as an Engineering Test Technician.

During his first eight years with CTL, his main focus was performing various material testing properties, as well as the design and installation of the labs hydraulic and mechanical systems. He also served in both the Quality Control and machining departments to gain a better overall understanding of the entire process from start to finish.

In 1995, Tony left CTL and took a position in the Quality Control Department of a local machine tool company. Tony rejoined CTL in 1999 as an Engineering Test Specialist. He was promoted to Lab Coordinator in 2001, Lab Supervisor in 2004, and Laboratory Production Manager in 2013. Tony is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the overall operation of laboratory activities concerned with the preparation, testing, and reporting of a wide range of materials and their properties. He is also responsible for the overall maintenance and repair at the Carillon facility.
